CONCUSSION: Chiropractic Care for Complete Recovery
The primary goal with post-concussion (or whiplash) care is complete recovery. Recent research is showing half or more of those suffering a concussion injury will have a prolonged and often incomplete recovery. Even a high percentage of those who report no symptoms after three weeks will either have symptoms return or have a prolonged/incomplete recovery from a
subsequent injury. The Doctor of Chiropractic is positioned perfectly to maximize full recovery in these patients. This course will provide the foundations for current, personalized, evidence based treatment protocols for successful recovery in both the acute and persistent post concussion (or whiplash) patient.
