Joshua Grant, LMT

There is nothing about my life that is typical, and how I came into massage therapy was no different. In 1992, my wife was in a car accident and broke her neck at C2, C3, and C7, as well as several ribs and many of the smaller bones on her left side. She was seeing an exceptionally good massage therapist for well over 5 years when he retired. My wife couldn’t find a therapist for several years.

At the time I was working at a high-tech firm which was going through a round of layoffs and I was on the list. I cashed out my stock options, bought her engagement ring and went back to school for massage therapy to take over where her previous therapists left off.

In 2002, I graduated, opened up a little office and put every bit of profit from the practice into my education. I am trained in and currently utilize (beyond the typical Swedish and deep tissue modalities) Active Release Techniques, Neuromuscular Therapies, Myofascial Release, active and passive stretching (PNF, et al) and I specialize in the preparation and maintenance of athletes, as well as the soft tissue rehabilitation of injuries sustained through sports, car accidents and workplace related accidents.

Since 2002, I have worked on athletes of all levels- from weekend warriors to Olympians, amateur MMA fighters to pro golfers, fight teams to bike teams. I specialize in soft tissue injury rehabilitation and athletes. I’m also a Kenpo black belt and formerly a registered cornerman.

I’ve made it my focus in massage therapy to help people recover from their injuries and to improve performance. Not just athletes, but everyone. Most soft tissue injuries can put you out of the game for a while, but a knowledgeable rehab and sports massage therapist (which is different from the spa therapists, no hot stones or mud wraps here) can shorten recovery time and get you back out there where you belong.

In my spare time, I dedicate my time to my own training in the martial arts and in archery, I’m a Freemason, a Shriner, and I’m active in my daughters’ youth group, Job’s Daughters.

Joshua Satterlee, DC

Dr. Josh Satterlee is a Chiropractor and a Strength and Conditioning coach specializing in rotational athletes. This specialization led Dr. Satterlee to find the SFMA and the Functional Movement System. His clients flourished within this functional model, but something was missing in his practice. After practicing in his own small clinic for 5 years, Dr. Satterlee realized the need for a “continuation of care” for his patients and athletes and decided to add fitness to his practice.

In 2013, Dr. Satterlee opened a 5,000 square foot Clinic/Gym Hybrid to provide a complete start to finish solution to injury care, with the exercise programs providing the finest maintenance care possible. To better offer the exercise to his patients, Dr. Satterlee hired and trained an amazing team of Personal Trainers. The resulting Clinic/Gym Hybrid business model offered a great method of providing freedom for the Doctor while serving the Patient at the highest level.  Dr. Satterlee now consults with universities, hospitals, and private clinicians on this model.

David Seaman, DC

Dr. David Seaman graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1986. During this time, he became interested in what it was about patients who did not respond to traditional chiropractic care. This led him to investigate pain mechanisms in more detail after graduating from college. He sought guidance from pain researchers at the University of North Carolina and the University of California.

He ultimately published four scientific articles about weight management, pain syndrome classification, diet-induction of inflammation and pain, and pain expression in the context of an elevated body mass index. Researchers from Harvard Medical School, other universities in the United States, as well as universities in Canada, Brazil, Iran, India, Russia, Japan, Thailand, China, Australia, and several countries in Europe have referenced these articles. This demonstrates that chiropractors can be accepted by mainstream medicine when a common language is spoken.

In 2020, his book The DeFlame Diet was published.
