Cody Dimak, DC
Dr. Cody Dimak is an associate professor at Parker University and is the lead faculty for the active rehabilitation course in the DC program. Prior to relocating to Dallas, he and his wife owned and operated an active-care-focused practice in Orange County, CA for 7 years. Dr. Dimak is an international lecturer on integrating a motor learning framework with strength and conditioning to help individuals who want to decrease pain and improve performance. Dr. Dimak believes in integrating peer-reviewed literature into practice and has particular interest in multiplanar sports performance, noncontact anterior cruciate ligament injuries, and lumbar spine rehabilitation. Dr. Dimak has spent his professional career advocating for both his patients and the patients of the doctors he teaches to progress through rehabilitation and into the strength and conditioning environment. When Dr. D isn’t giving external cues to promote motor learning, he can be found on the golf course or playing with his two daughters.
John Floyd, Jr.
John Floyd, Jr. is a trial lawyer and partner in the Nashville office of Wicker Smith. He has represented chiropractors for the past decade and tried numerous jury trials in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama defending the care and reputations of chiropractors. John’s broad practice in the defense of chiropractors encompasses board investigations, third-party payor audits, and other legal issues.
Deed Harrison, DC
Deed E. Harrison, D.C., graduated from Life-West Chiropractic College in 1996. Dr. Harrison has developed and researched original spinal rehabilitation procedures and has lectured to spine clinicians at nearly 1000 educational conferences around the world. He has authored (co-authored) approximately 242 peer-reviewed spine related publications, 5 spine textbooks, and numerous professional letters to editors and conference proceedings. He is a highly respected chiropractic researcher and educator in the realm of conservative spine care.
Dr. Harrison is a manuscript reviewer for several top-tier, Q1, peer-reviewed Spine journals. He has developed and completed two successful Special Issues on spine rehabilitation for the Journal of Clinical Medicine as a Guest Editor. Additionally, he is an academic editorial board member of Scientific Reports and the Journal of Clinical MedicineDr. Harrison is a past member to the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine (ISSLS), is a former International Chiropractors Association’s (ICA) Nevada State Assembly Representative member, is a current ICA Board Member, and he formerly held a position on the Chiropractic Physicians Board of Nevada. Currently, Dr. Harrison is the President / CEO of Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®)Technique & Seminars and is the President of CBP NonProfit, Inc. – a spinal research foundation.
Dr. Harrison directs and owns a large chiropractic rehabilitation and education facility in Eagle, ID, USA called the Ideal Spine Health Center. Lastly, he been preliminarily / conditionally accepted into a PhD program and will be pursuing his Doctorate in Forensic Medicine.
Lisa Maciejewski-West, CMC, CMOM, CMIS, CPCO-I
Lisa has been involved in Chiropractic billing, management and consulting since 1982. Starting out as a Front Desk CA, Lisa moved through the ranks to become a CA Biller, Chiropractic Technician, and a Chiropractic Office Manager. In 1999, Lisa started working for Kats Management (now called Integrity Management) as a full-time Practice Coach and Speaker. Over her 10-year tenure with Kats Management, she coached over 190 providers and their staff to success, and taught CA, Billing and Office Management Courses at Kats/Integrity Conferences.
In 2006, Lisa founded Gold Star Medical Business Services to provide a part-time job for her then disabled husband. Upon his death in 2009, Lisa took over running Gold Star full time. The company currently serves over 150 practices, providing outsource billing, compliance, credentialing and practice management consulting services for chiropractors and medical offices nationwide.
Lisa is a certified Medical Coder, Medical Insurance Specialist, Medical Office Manager, Medical Auditor, and Certified Professional Compliance Officer, as well as a CPCO Instructor with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Lisa has given billing, coding, compliance and credentialing courses to more than 65 State, District, Local and Private Chiropractic and Medical Organizations and Associations throughout the world.
In 2023, Lisa joined with Chiro Congress to launch a National Insurance Help Desk, providing advice and guidance in Chiropractic Coding, Billing, Compliance and Credentialing to Members of State Chiropractic Associations all over the US. Lisa also continues to support the Chiropractic profession as an active Member of the Chiropractic Future Strategic Plan’s Chiropractic Technical Committee.
In September 2023 Lisa was appointed by Texas’ Governor Greg Abbot to serve on the Board of the Texas State Office of Risk Management, which overwatches the Workman’s Compensation Fund and other Auto and Property Insurance Plans for State Employees and State Owned Vehicles and Buildings. Lisa serves as Vice-Chair of the SORM Board.
Lisa is also the proud mom of 5 children and “Yaya” to 7 grandchildren.
Lindsay Mumma, DC, DNSP
Lindsay Mumma, DC, DNSP, is the owner of Triangle Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC, a multidisciplinary practice she opened in 2012 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic with the Clinical Excellence Award. She teaches for the Motion Palpation Institute and moveMentors. Her private practice focuses on rehabilitative chiropractic care across the lifespan and with a specific focus on prenatal and postpartum health. She is a wife, mother to two boys, speaker, life enthusiast, and author of The Trimester Series, the best-selling book Your Pelvic Floor Sucks, and the Top 50 in Health Substack publication Dr. Lindsay Mumma’s Newsletter.
Michael Powell, DC, DACNB
Dr. Powell has been teaching nationally and abroad for over 25 years. His presentations make understanding the applications of brain function and chiropractic care easy, fun to learn and practical to implement. Each session combines patient case video and learner participation; doctors will be getting up out of their seats, interacting and learning hands-on. Information presented is linked to evidence from current research. The goal is always to make the doctor better able to serve their patients at the highest level.
Dr. Powell is a second-generation chiropractor, Logan College of Chiropractic graduate and has been practicing in Cedar Rapids, IA since 1996. Most of his patients have complex conditions that have not improved despite extensive prior care. He has a passion for sharing what he has learned from research, other doctors and his patients.
Dr. Powell has served as a board member for the Iowa Board of Chiropractic, Iowa Chiropractic Society and Brain Injury Alliance of Iowa. He has been involved with NBCE, FCLB, IAFNR, ACNB and ACA Councils. Dr. Powell taught the diplomate neurology program extensively for the Carrick Institute. Over the years, he has presented at chiropractic and medical colleges, state association and multi-disciplinary events. Dr. Powell is an author of “The potential impact of various physiological mechanisms on outcomes in TBI, mTBI, concussion and PPCS” Journal of Functional Neurology, Rehabilitation and Ergonomics, 2013. He is trained in Bredesen RECODE protocols for Alzheimer’s disease.
Brandon Steele, DC, FACO
Dr. Steele is in private practice at Premier Rehab in the greater St. Louis area. His journey began in the fast-paced realm of professional sports, where he developed rehabilitation programs for the St. Louis Cardinals, Rams, and Blues—helping athletes bounce back and perform at their best. Now, he shares his passion for evidence-based treatment of musculoskeletal disorders as a sought-after lecturer for the University of Bridgeport’s diplomate in the orthopedics program.
Beyond his practice and teaching, Dr. Steele serves on the executive board of the Illinois Chiropractic Society and is a distinguished Diplomate and Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (FACO). As a NCMIC speaker’s bureau member, he’s dedicated to spreading knowledge and inspiring fellow practitioners. Additionally, Dr. Steele co-founded ChiroUp.com, an invaluable resource embraced by chiropractors and colleges worldwide. Tiffany Stevens, ED
Tiffany Stevens has worked within the healthcare profession for over 25 years in a variety of capacities, including management, operations, membership, and marketing for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. She brings to her presentations a wealth of clinical knowledge, having served and managed several highly successful multi-doctor practices. She maintains her licenses as a Chiropractic X-ray Technician (CXT) and Chiropractic Therapy Assistant (CTA), having played a major role in developing the current CTA certification and distance learning program. In 2010, she co-authored the textbook Chiropractic Therapy Assistant – A Clinical Resource Guide which as a nationally-recognized resource for the chiropractic paraprofessional.
Ms. Stevens has extensive association management experience. Early in her career, she co-founded the Chiropractic Assistants of Tennessee and served on its Board for a number of years, including the position of President. She currently leads the TCA as Executive Director working with the Board of Directors to form goals and strategies shaping the future of chiropractic in Tennessee. Ms. Stevens directs the government affairs activities of the TCA, including lobbying for the chiropractic profession in TN and our nation’s capital. Prior to her current position, she served in the roles of Director of Member Services and Executive Vice President. Combining her dedication for the advancement of the chiropractic profession along with her interest in quality education, she continues to lecture on various components of the chiropractic practice and writes articles for local, state and national publications.
Kris Tohtz, DC, LAc/AP, DABCA, CABCP
Dr. Kris Tohtz graduated magna cum laude from the National University of Health Sciences in April 2001. While attending chiropractic school, she also began pursuing a Diplomate in Acupuncture, which she earned from the American Chiropractic Association in August 2009. After completing two supervised medical internships in Beijing and Hangzhou, China, Dr. Tohtz pursued advanced studies, obtaining her Master of Science in Acupuncture (MSAc) from the National University of Health Sciences, graduating summa cum laude in August 2014.
Dr. Tohtz is a registered yoga instructor, a trained postpartum doula, and holds advanced certification in Pregnancy and Pediatric Care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. For eight years, she served as the Diplomate Educational Co-Coordinator for the ACA Pediatrics Council, an effort for which she was named Pediatric Chiropractor of the Year in 2023. She was awarded her Pediatric Diplomate in 2025.
Additionally, Dr. Tohtz is a certified practitioner in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. She holds a specialty teaching certificate from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) and a certification in Functional Medicine from the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). She teaches continuing education courses to healthcare practitioners on topics including acupuncture, dry needling, pregnancy, pediatric care, and functional medicine.
Dr. Tohtz has served the ACA Acupuncture Council in all leadership roles over a span of more than 10 years and was a member of the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation’s Acupuncture Board for six years.
With over 24 years of clinical experience, Dr. Tohtz is the owner and lead clinician at Serenity Family Wellness, a managing partner at Fusion Care, LLC, and a practicing Chiropractic Physician and Acupuncturist with the Veterans Administration in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband and dog.
